Motorola does it again with the W510
June 30th, 2008
The Motorola W510 is available has earned a solid reputation as a reliable Flip mobile phone since its first appearance. Considering it is an entry level handset the W510 is functional, if a little basic contrasted with some of the other mobile handsets. Motorola have done a outstanding job on the user interface of the Motorola W510 making this handset easy to use.
Moving on to the display the mobile handset is fitted with a 1.9 inch screen, which is a disappointingly sized display for the cost of this phone. The display type on this mobile handset is a TFT, 256K colors. The W510 is compatible with 2G GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 . A 1.3 MP, 1280 x 1024 pixels, video is integrated into this mobile handset camera. A WAP 2.0/xHTML compatible browser is also included allowing mobile Internet access. The W510 has Polyphonic, MP3 ring tones enabled along with a vibrating alert. The Motorola W510 is has bluetooth, for interactivity with the vast majority of devices. If the visual appearance mobile phone matters, you should be aware that the W510 is only available in Dark Pearl Gray. The Motorola W510 weighs in at 107 g, The Motorola W510 has a battery cell usage of 350 hours standby charge and talk time of 7:30. A Li-Ion 880 mAh, battery cell is supplied with the Motorola W510. This handset as a number of extras like, Voice memo, Organizer, Java MIDP 2.0, MP3/AAC/AAC+ player, Built-in handsfree and Calculator.
Regrettably for Motorola the W510 has some stiff competition from rival manufacturers products making it pretty easy to get a real bargain on this handset. The most popular place to buy a mobile phone in the modern world is from specialist websites. Shopping online will save you a lot of money, incredibly it is possible to get a mobile contract with 12 months free , which, if you are clever will not cost a dime.
Develop Guts to Achieve Glory
June 29th, 2008
It is just amazing the amount of people who don’t have the courage to go after their dreams. They sit around living a life they are not happy with and still they do nothing about it.
And the funny thing is that if you should ask them the reason for this, they start finding excuses left, right and center. They vary from money to age to the economy and others you might be familiar with.
Many of us are waiting for Lady Luck to pay us a surprise visit. We blindly believe that that will be the end of our troubles. But this is hardly so.We have to work hard and wisely for the success we desire.
To make something of ourselves in this world calls for us to overcome obstacles and setbacks. But my biggest obstacle is my fears and you may find yourself in a similar position.
Not facing our fears and moving on could be the difference between success and failure. So what’s to do ?
All it takes is the will and guts to go ahead and create something worthwhile in this world. We can all achieve success but we need to conquer our FEARS.
The man without fear is one who is not living. We all have our personal fears. It can be fear of failure, success or people’s opinion. But you have to face them to achieve success.
Ask any successful person and they will tell you this secret. A brave person is someone who acts in spite of his or her fears. So ask yourself, what fears do you need to conquer to reach your goals ?

Know Your Fats: Some Are Good
June 20th, 2008
All foods contain a mixture of the three different types of fats: saturated, polyunsaturated and monounsaturated. There are no foods that contain only one type. They contain the three types of fat in varying proportions, and the type that occurs in the largest percentage is used to name that fat. For example, olive oil is called a monounsaturated fat because it contains more monounsaturated fat than polyunsaturated or saturated, but it has some of all three types.
SATURATED FATS: These fats are solid at room temperature. When you take in more calories than your body needs, saturated fats raise cholesterol and increase risk for heart attacks. Large amounts of saturated fats are found in butter, meats and high-fat dairy products.
MONOUNSATURATED FATS are liquid at room temperature. They are found in all food sources of fats, but particularly rich sources include olives, almonds and other seeds. Before the bad LDL cholesterol can form plaques in arteries, it must first be converted to oxidized LDL. Monounsaturated fats are thought to stabilize the bad LDL cholesterol and make it less likely to form plaques in arteries. Recent studies suggest that their heart-health benefits may come from antioxidants and other phytochemicals found in the seeds as well.
POLYUNSATURATED FATS are healthful as long as they are left in their natural state, which is liquid at room temperature, and not converted to the more solid partially hydrogenated oils (see below). Polyunsaturated fats include the essential fatty acids (omega-3’s and omega-6’s) , which your body cannot assemble from other fats, so you must get them in your food. Omega 6’s are abundant in vegetable oils and processed foods, and most people get plenty. Omega-3’s are found only in whole grains, beans, nuts and other seeds, and in seafood; you may not get enough unless you make a special effort to eat these foods. Omega-3’s are the least stable of the fats (they turn rancid quickly when exposed to air, light or heat), so they are not found in most processed foods. Omega-3’s help to prevent clotting and inflammation, so they decrease your risk for heart attacks and strokes.
PARTIALLY HYDROGENATED OILS contain trans fats. Polyunsaturated fats in vegetable oils are healthful if they are left in the vegetables. Removing fats from vegetables shortens their shelf life. To keep them from turning rancid, they are either processed with heat, which destroys the very unstable essential omega-3 fatty acids; or, even worse, they are converted into harmful partially hydrogenated oils. Hydrogen atoms are added to replace the unsaturated double bonds between carbons, to create a very stable, more solid fat that is similar to saturated fat but has a different chemical structure.
The trans fats in partially hydrogenated oils increase risk for heart attacks by lowering blood levels of the good HDL cholesterol, raising levels of the bad LDL cholesterol and Lp(a), and blocking arachidonic acid to cause clotting. Partially hydrogenated fats also lower blood levels of the inflammation-reducing omega-3 fatty acids.
Partially hydrogenated fats are the principal fat in many prepared foods, such a french fries, doughnuts, frozen meals, cookies and crackers. Some major food producers are responding to public pressure to get trans fats out of our food supply, but they are still widely used. I believe that everyone should keep intake of partially hydrogenated fats (trans fats)in your daily diet as close to zero as possible.

How to Price Your Property?
June 20th, 2008
A house properly priced is half sold.
But there are plenty of ways to price it improperly..
* You can’t go by what you paid for the place. Perhaps you bought two years ago when local prices were skyrocketing, and things have cooled off since. Perhaps houses like yours can now be bought for less, and if you hold out for what you paid, you’ll just waste your time..
On the other hand, perhaps prices in your area have taken off, and you’d short-change yourself if you just tried to “get my money out” (but you’d have a fast sale.).
* You can’t go by how much you’ve spent on improvements. A given street will support only a given price range. If you’ve invested so much that yours would be the most expensive house on the street, the buying public is not likely to reimburse you..
* You can’t go by your tax assessment figure. Even in communities that aim at full-value assessments, the figures are almost never in line with what buyers are currently ready to pay..
So how do you price your house?.
By putting yourself in a buyer’s shoes..
What else is for sale in the area? How does it compare with your house? How long has it been on the market? What has sold recently, and how much did the buying public value it at? What has failed to sell in the past year?.
Any good broker can furnish the data you need, often in the form of a chart known as a CMA, Comparative Market Analysis. .
And once you have it, again think like a buyer. What price would it take for you to look at a list and say to an agent “Take me to see that one”?.

Tips for Busy Moms on Stress Managment
June 19th, 2008
Moms are some of the busiest people on the planet. From working a 9-5 job to getting the kids off the school or from attending soccer games to chaperoning a slumber party, a mom’s feet never seem to stay still. Some moms are responsible for taking care of their aging parents as well.
With this almost frantic pace, increased stress levels can be a natural result. Stress can impact many areas of life such as work, family, and other relationships. Stress can cause one to experience irritability, impatience, and distractibility. For busy moms, stress management is a necessity. Here are eight tips to assist in living a more stress free life.
1. Determine, no matter what, to create time for self. For some busy moms, maybe it’s a soothing bubble bath at the end of the day. For others, it could be a quick trip to the local Nail Salon. The activity really doesn’t matter as long as busy moms take some time for themselves.
2. Listen to calm, sooting music on the way to work, while at work, and while going to sleep. Music has a way of calming and soothing the mind body.
3. Practice deep abdominal breathing periodically throughout the day. Breath in deeply through the nose pulling the belly button toward the spine, hold for a few seconds, and then slowly release. Busy moms will be pleasantly surprised at how this simple technique can result in a more relaxed body and mind. This can be done in any environment.
4. Take time to exercise. Exercise helps to increase self-esteem, decrease depression, increase concentration and energy, and gives one a greater sense of control over stress. Hitting the local gym is not always necessary. Taking a 15-minute walk around the neighborhood, taking walks on lunch breaks, taking the steps instead of an elevator, and parking farther away when shopping are examples of how busy moms can squeeze in exercise during the day.
5. Eat Healthy. There are foods that promote calmness and foods that increase stress levels. Busy moms can ask themselves if they are eating too much sugar and caffeine, and if they are getting enough protein. They can also evaluate if they are eating plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables and staying away from refined and processed foods. Healthy eating is very important for any busy mom. Taking a look at diets and making the necessary changes can result in increased optimal health.
6. Call a friend. For any busy mom, it is always important in life to have at least one relationship where they can just vent and know that a listening ear and unconditional acceptance will be given.
7. Practice Thinking Calmly. Everyone has a favorite place that is peaceful, soothing, and calm. When stress levels increase, busy moms can take a mental break and visualize that special place. They can take note of the sights, sounds, and smells. It is important to continue to do this until relaxation is felt. Busy moms will notice that the stress they are experiencing will be less and more manageable.
8. Have a sense of humor. We all are familiar with the saying, “Laughter is the best medicine.” This is so true. Be willing to laugh at personal mistakes. Watch a funny movie. Share a joke with a friend. In other words, lighten up. It will make such a difference.
Busy moms can follow the above eight tips for a more stress free life!

Choosing A Car Model That Suits You
June 19th, 2008
When you are looking at various car models, you may know exactly what you are looking for. All too many times however, people who want to buy a car have no idea what they are looking for. In fact, they often just go from car lot to car lot, looking at anything and everything they can afford. If you want to be completely satisfied with your purchase however and save yourself a ton of time, you may want to consider choosing a car model that suits you before you even hit the first car lot.
To do this, you will need to consider several things. First, you will want to think about the number of people that are typically in your car. This is important because if you have children, you will need something that will accommodate them as well as anyone else that rides with you. If you are single, you have more choices here.
Next, you will want to think about what’s important to you in a car. If you like a roomy vehicle, you might want to try a van. If you like to sit up high on the road, a SUV might be the best choice for you. If you haul a lot of stuff, you might need a truck. No matter what, you should think about these things before shopping.
When you have narrowed it down to a few car models to choose from, shopping will be easier and faster than you ever thought possible. In fact, you will be able to choose from just a few vehicles rather than hundreds.

Rejection is Love’s greatest Enemy
June 18th, 2008
What if the Ocean rejects the rivers from merging with it? What if the Mother rejects her children and their Love? What if nature rejects the humanity? What if God rejects the devotion of His children? If the above are to take place, the world will go topsy-turvy. It is astonishing and abnormal for all the above to reject. It is not their nature. The thin invisible thread in all of them is Love. Rejection is the greatest enemy of Love.
To reject a person is easy but to love a being, it takes enormous willingness, humility and egoless attitude. No being deserves rejection on this earth. If one thinks he needs to be deserted for his sins, every human being deserves to be alone. To err is human. To blame it on someone else is not. When you point out one finger towards others, remember there are four fingers pointing towards you and your mistakes. If every being minded his or her own business, this earth would turn into Heaven.
It is not impossible but very much practicable to forgive and love the person who you think deserves to be rejected. Firstly, think for yourself how many blunders and mistakes you have done all your life. Let alone life, count your mistakes in a day and then multiply them with 365. There will be countless mistakes in just one year. Imagine the mistakes made in all the past years? It is then you will realize your mountain of sins hiding in heaps. We think it is natural for us to make mistakes at that point of time. But isn’t it natural for the other person too to make mistakes? Why are you not ready to accept him with the same feeling you forgave yourself? When you develop oneness with all the beings around you, you will never ever reject a being in your life.
Learn to forgive the people whom you assume as enemies. Hate the hatred and not the person. Hate the sin but not the sinner. If possible, help him overcome his weakness and mistakes. If you try to correct the person, he will be careful not to make mistake only in your presence. But if you correct the sins or his mistakes, he will never repeat them before any person in his life.
God gives and forgives; Man gets and forgets. Man is the creation of God and so ought to remain embodiment of forgiveness. But he is acting in the opposite. When God is willing to forgive our greatest sins, why can’t we try to forgive our enemies? No person is worthy of rejection. In turn, reject his negative attitude and try to change him towards good. Lead a life as his brother as you are all children of God.
Life is a rainbow of different colors. Even if we don’t like any color, we can’t separate it from the rainbow. Similarly life is a mixture of different tastes and various personalities we come across. Some are sweet and some are bitter. Yet life has to go on with all of them within it. Man is a boat sinking and floating with sorrow and happiness in the ocean of Life. They are inseparable. Man is born to accept whatever life bestows on him; not to reject. When he learns to accept all beings in his shadow of Love, there will be God at the other end of his Life’s journey just waiting to accept him in his heart bubbling with grace and love which confers endless bliss on Man.
“Rejection is the outcome of the contraction of your heart where as Love is the outcome of its expansion.”- Sharmila Sanka

Technique of Watercolor Painting: WC08 WORKSPACE
June 16th, 2008
The watercolor painting workspace plays a vital part in the success of a watercolorist.
It is easier and more productive having a private room to work. Some painters need more space than others. Having your own workspace is a great privilege. Not everyone has the good fortune to have even the desire to paint let alone their own workspace where they can experiment and learn to develop a God given talent.
Adopt a permanent workspace if you can. At any time of the day or night the workspace should be accessible and allow freedom to commence work with immediate effect. There should be no need to ask others to leave or remove the belongings of others out of the way. The workspace should be set aside and dedicated for your painting work alone. Think of it as a sort of shrine and be jealous of others going anywhere near your workspace unless at your request. Privacy cannot be overstated. Try to keep the aura of the workplace entirely your own. You do not allow the vibrations of others to invade where you paint as young children pets and nosy family members at the wrong time can be a pain.
Always locate at right angles to a window from your left side. This helps to give a strong feeling of light direction in your work. Watercolor painting is all about light. Oil and Acrylic painters create their own light quality in their work. Watercolor painters have this for free by retaining the light already in the paper. It is unwise to paint watercolors in artificial light.
If you have a garden erect a lockable well insulated timber shed. The shed should be located windows facing north and built to allow for extension. Direct light from the sun reflected by the paper up into the eyes will cause glare and make it impossible to work. It is better in the case of a garden shed to fix a worktop along the whole length of the shed first making sure the distance between the back edge of the entrance door frame and the inside face of the window wall is sufficient to accommodate the front to back dimension of the worktop.
Fix a standpipe near the entrance door for water. It will be good to connect an electricity power supply.
Materials should be ready available and in place. It should not be necessary to start cleaning brushes or the work desk or looking for lost equipment before starting work. If possible lock the door against unwanted entry and only allow others in under your supervision. Do not lend anything to anyone. Before starting work the most you should need to do is get fresh water to mix some colors. Start each work session as if afresh.
Your drawing board on which the paper [ground] will rest should be large enough to accommodate the size of your paper with about 5 inches plus all round. Perhaps the optimum board size is 800 x 600 x 18mm thick – white laminate faced. The extra space is used to rest the hand or to place test strips of paper cut from cheaper watercolor paper or the back of discarded spoiled work. Pin a cotton strip 4 inches wide 2 feet long to the right of the board into the edge of the worktop for quick cleaning. Also use half a hand towel for drying hands.
The ground is not stretched nor pinned nor fixed to the board in any way. This will allow the paper to be quickly positioned in response to the movement of the watercolor.
A board tilt block should be softwood [resin-free] about 70 x 120mm. The softwood tilt is lightweight for quick removal when required. A good idea is to cover the tilt with blanket material to stop board rock.
I use a flush door as a worktop resting on bookcases. Its working height has to suit you – crotch height when standing. Suspend a tray shelf below 4 inches clear for portfolios.
Over the worktop I lay doubled heavy white canvas sailcloth. Below the worktop is a basket for waste paper and unwanted bits. On the floor where I stand is a thick rug or strip of carpet to keep the feet warm and to prevent slipping.
I sit on a draughtsman’s adjustable height and back revolve chair. I have a wooden angled footrest with a mat on it – for use when seated.
On the wall is a chalkboard for quick idea sketching notes
To the right of board I have two white enameled gas oven trays for palettes and behind the board I have additional narrower trays for water buckets.
On these trays are all the painting materials for quick removal. To the left behind the board are test papers strips and cleaning paper rolls. A one-sided graduated stainless steel straight edge is wall hung. All white kitchen paper roll is used to dab watercolor clouds painting. Toilet rolls to the right are used to clean and dry the oven trays.
To the left of board are reference books color and other pencils. Also draughtsman tools setsquares compasses dividers the lot. Build up these supplies gradually as needed. Do not waste money. On a separate table I let paintings to dry under mount and glass. Do not forget the computer!
Try to keep the air at constant temperature and humidity. Try to position the workplace so you can move around everything. Avoid having the worktop with the long edge against the wall if possible – except of course in the case of a garden shed studio. It is then easier to keep the studio clean and tidy.
Please remember painting is a very private world where problems arising from the difficulties of the work need an advance in personal development before their solution is possible. It is advisable to keep mentally and physically fit. Resist depressions like the plague. Keep your spirits refreshed and positive at all times.
My very best wishes.
