My friend was playing a $60 turbo 6-handed sit and go the other day. He lost connection preflop with AK suited, and got back in time to see that he would have flopped the nut flush draw. He also found out he would have missed the draw and felt consoled by the fact that he saved money. He ended up taking 2nd in tourney, which he might not have if he was connected for the AK hand. But he might also have won an uncontested pot with a continuation bet, who knows. Something that is important to think about, if you are a serious online poker player, is having a backup internet connection, like a telephone land line. In times of technological woe, you might be able to snail through a few hands as opposed to missing them completely.

Going out to a restaurant to eat is fun especially when you go and dine with a group of people that you really like. The conversation over a delicious meal is a great pleasure in life. There is something that restaurants need more of, and that is booth seating. Sometimes you will go out to a restaurant and see booths and tables. Next time that you plan a meal and call for reservations, ask for a reservation in a booth. If you don’t request it then they will not know that that is what you want. Making reservations is always a great idea because it takes out the guess work while dining out. There are many times that if you did not make a reservation and the hostess goes to seat you at a table, just ask her if you can go to the booth. More often then not she will take you over to the booth.
