At first we tried to rank these, but we realized that due to the diverse nature of these songs it seemed unfair to do so. Depends on personal opinion, right? Wrong!</p>
<p>Thankfully we came to our senses and threw that notion out the window. Fair? Objective? What fun is that?</p>
<p>The artist that popped up the most on this list is Biggie Smalls (aka Notorious B.I.G.), followed by Tribe Called Quest, 2Pac, The Roots and KRS One/Boogie Down Productions.</p>
<p>Remember this is by no means scientific.</p>
