Some folks believe that we should not begin to terraform Mars because we have done a lousy job as stewards of the Earth’s atmosphere. They say things like we cannot even fix the smog on Earth. Indeed there are places where the smog is very bad, like in Mexico City, Beijing and New Delhi. But when talking about the United States, well I have to completely disagree with the statement that we cannot “Fix Smog.”

Our forests need some CO2 for the Trees, which convert it into oxygen, a lot of this so-called smog is helping plant growth, while other chemicals are not, thus we should be considering that. So, unless we are in an area with too much CO2 for us to breath we are good and not going to choke. If we have too much smog in a highly dense human industrial region, well then there is a way to collect that.

Actually the atmosphere is not so bad really for instance in large cities in 1975 things were pretty bad and they are not as bad today. Chock one up for mankind. China and India, which are rapidly becoming industrialized nations, will need to watch their outputs of pollution of course. They are not doing such a hot job of that today; this will have to change. Additionally such comments from environmentalists without data are in fact misrepresentative of the actual truth and it would be nice for them to provide statistical research that the air is worse off in the United States then it was previously in let’s say from 1975-1985.

One recent critic at an online Think Tank stated: “We need to fix the planet we live on instead of finding a new one to screw up oh yes but we must first fix it before we screw it up. How do you suppose we go about doing this we will all choke to death here first.”

Well who is choking? Not me, are you? The picture this person paints with broad strokes of dark gray simply is not so. In fact we have much technology on the horizon, such as “Clean Burning Coal” and other radical new technologies available. It is simply a matter of slowly switching over. Unfortunately many environmentalists continue to block projects to upgrade by filing lawsuits during the EIR period of these enhancements, thus it further slows down the process of building better plants, factories and generation stations which can provide less harmful emissions to the atmosphere.

Why is it crazy thinking to study the possibilities of expanding the human race to nearby planets? After all it was not long ago that is was said to be stupid that the World was round and it was said to be foolish to try to set up in the New World. I am really glad my ancestors did not listen back then. And it is for that lesson of history that I cannot consider such arguments now, as our critic at the online think tank finishes his remarks with; “What the hell is wrong with you people?” Not a thing my friend, not a thing. Consider Terraforming mars and think on this in 2006.

Did you know that the Sunny State of Florida is using some of that Sun to help them increase their energy efficiency? It is true, in fact the University of Central Florida has a program called the “Florida Solar Energy Center” which is encouraging Flordians to get rooftop installed solar panels. They are careful help residence in finding certified installers. This is wonderful news.

Now then, I propose that these solar panels are recessed or set up in a way to prevent them from blowing away in the next big Category III or Higher Hurricane. Perhaps the solar panels can be shaped like spoilers on Indy Cars that actually help keep the roof on the home and press down as the wind blows instead of coming apart and flying away? That would be a great idea indeed. The more people who are on solar energy the better the chances of having energy in the aftermath of a large Category Hurricane you see?

Solar Energy in Florida makes a lot of sense, just like it does in Texas, California, Arizona and New Mexico where it is always sunny. The Great State of Florida is on the leading edge of solar research and market driven solutions bringing power and energy efficiency to the people. Not only does Sunny Florida bring us great citrus thanks to the Sun it may soon be able to power its self into the future of Solar Energy. Consider this in 2006.

Recently a professional engineer was asked for assistance in the question if sound waves could cause structural failure in insect wings. Why? Well, because it was believed that sound waves could then be used to stop killer bees or locust plagues from swarming and causing deaths or devastation to crops. This has been discussed in an online think tank and one member approached the professional engineer and then reported back to the group;

“So basically now you have stated; I sent the story to a professional engineer friend of mine and he says the wings are so flexible that spending time trying to degrade them or crack the drum head part of the wing with sound wave seems a distant pursuit, given the other concept with which to meditate.

Well another think tank member stated to that; Obviously and I told you so. Now if you are trying to impress me with “professional engineers” I will have none of that, because this is such a blatantly obvious answer to a question, I say “No Minutia Sherlock!” For anyone to impress me well let’s just say they will have to be more than just a professional engineer, because to me that is like a professional lawyer, professional politician or professional scum scraper at the sewer treatment plant.

Glad we got that out of the way. “Professional Engineer?” Yah and these professional engineers are why nothing I ever buy ever works? Professional engineers. I think we ought to hold these professional engineers accountable for the crap they produce and design. So, what does professional mean, they wear a tie to work to impress superiors? Please spare me the BS and just because he thinks it will not work does not mean it wouldn’t when the wing of the insect is working at its structural limits in the midst of the intensity of the swarm. It just means if we continue to look at this problem we take the flexibility of the wing into consideration. So, then lets consider all this in 2006.

More and more firms of varying sizes are creating online videos about their offerings. They’re not only posting them on their company websites, but they are posting them to their own blogs. To gain global twenty four seven publicity, company videos are being published to dozens of video-sharing websites like that of YouTube and Google Video. One single stealthy unmanned aerial vehicle may easily sneak into the battlespace alone to do its mission and get out without being detected. But what if you have many and their wake turbulence is detected as the move thru the air. Or what if all their heat signatures, which are small add up to a larger one and it is seen by infrared detection? What if all the different angles bouncing off each other causes an anomaly or disruption in other waves, such a cell tower frequency plumes, satellite radio or other such situations?

I propose a double solution to penetrating enemy airspace undetected with a series of massive UAV unmanned aerial vehicle swarms. Additionally I propose that these autonomous aircraft have with them payloads to deliver, communication to disrupt and amongst them a large number of single mission UAVs. That is to say units we do not want back which are merely robotic kamikaze units to kill the enemy, where the entire aircraft including the frame is made of explosive material of the highest grade.

Is it evil to suggest such things? Absolutely not, you see when the politicians fail to reach a compromise with mischievous nation state dictators who sponsor international terrorism and such a political impasse leads to war and your enemy then threatens to strike using international terrorism events or to blow your allies off the map; well then it is not evil to suggest a strategy capable of total annihilation of said enemy. And I think Carl von Clauswitz would back me up on this as well.

By using the slipstream of a larger stealthier aircraft the UAV swarms can stack them selves and fly in tight formation even locking them selves together if needed to remain perfectly in place, creating the least amount of additional anomaly of heat, airflow disruption, radar reflection or sound. We need to develop anti-radar formation swarm strategies for fast moving unmanned aircraft, as the modern battlespace is changing and we must stay on the bleeding edge. It is the difference between winning and losing a battle. Consider all this in 2006.

Well, the high definition television digital video recorder or HDTV DVR is doing the same thing that the HDTV and the DVR did when they came out blowing minds. Anyone who owns a high definition television needs a high definition digital video recorder. The HDTV DVR combines the features of the high definition television with the features of the digital video recorder to create a million dollar master piece. And once again companies like TiVo are leading the way and happily reaping the benefits. Of course, satellite companies are right behind the DVR giant. Comcast, DirecTV, and Dish Network are strong competition.

Of course, just like the HDTV and DRV a DRV with high definition capabilities is currently very expensive. While the features make up the enormous price tag many people are still avoiding it until the prices are dropped significantly. You currently have two choices with TiVo. The first HDTV DVR is capable of recording two shows at once. It can store up to twenty hours or high definition programming and one hundred and eighty hours of standard definition program at one time. The TiVo HD DVR can be used to replace your cable box and works with antennas however it does not currently support satellite. The price tag is two hundred ninety nine dollars and ninety nine cents. I believe I will wait as well!
