We Tried AT&T U-verse Out. Read About it Here.
May 13th, 2009
After some time with Cablevision and 3 with Roadrunner, my family decided it was time to give something new a try. I was of consistently paying more money for less with cable and wanted to see what other options were available. Cable definitely is not trying very hard when it comes to HD channels. Satellite wasn’t an option so we skipped it and went with AT&T U-verse. My service was installed on September 27 and at first, I could not have been more pleased. The only complaint I had was that sales sold me sports channels that never had sports. They were all blacked out. Lo and behold this is pretty common.
For the next 2 months, I had great service and new channels and features added monthly. The we received the DVR. I had an issue with a tv & the dvr. I waited to contact customer service. And when I did, all hell broke lose.
After hours on the telephone with cust service, I had shutdown and updated every receiver and home gateway many times. After this, my service stunk and was constantly cutting out. He then set up an time for some time later with a technician. The repairman arrived and detected numerous problems which he mended. I was not really sure that everything was fixed for all intents and purposes but happy that I had my service back.
